Founding Partner

Meg Felton Staunton

With over 25 years of experience in retained executive search and corporate human resources, Meg is a strategic c-suite human resources executive with strong business acumen. She has worked in both start-up entrepreneurial environments, as well as driven large-scale transformation within public companies through effective communication and creative problem-solving skills. After college, she began her career in retail in the Macy’s training program and after four years left to open a custom swimwear store in Greenwich, CT. That ultimately led to a 25-plus year career in retained executive search, most notably at Korn Ferry and Herbert Mines Associates.

In 2017, Meg was recruited to XPO Logistics to build a world-class executive recruiting function. Meg and her team subsequently stood up the leadership teams for two public company spins, GXO in 2021 and RXO in 2022.

Meg leads with a servant-leader mindset and a collaborative and authentic approach to partnering with all levels of an organization. She is committed to fostering excellence, quality, service, and profitability. She is passionate about assisting individuals, leaders, and teams meet and surpass their talent needs.

Meg believes in second chances and is currently serving on the board of Homebridge Ventures. Homebridge Ventures seeks to reduce recidivism through support programs and services to help the formerly incarcerated get vocational training and find employment.

Meg lives in Connecticut with her husband, dog and three sons who've now flown the coop but visit often.

Fun Fact: Meg produced an off-Broadway play about motherhood called EVE-olution.

Kirsten Larsen

Kirsten is an expert assessor of talent with more than 17 years of global recruitment experience spanning retained executive search and in-house corporate environments. As a trusted C-suite advisor, Kirsten has developed a clear passion for people across recruitment, assessment, and talent strategy design.

Prior to joining Megaworx, Kirsten served as the Senior Director of Corporate and Executive Recruiting at GXO Logistics, where she built the recruiting function and talent assessment strategy for all Corporate and Executive hiring across the Americas and Asia-Pacific Regions.

She began her career hiring Analysts and Associates for various investment bank training programs in New York City before honing her executive recruiting skills at Korn Ferry. There, she focused on recruiting C-Level corporate communications, investor relations and corporate affairs executives across all industry verticals for Fortune 500 and start-up companies. In 2018, Kirsten joined XPO Logistics to help build a best-in-class executive recruiting function to support the company's hyper-growth, which included the spin-off of its supply chain business in 2021, GXO Logistics.

Kirsten holds a B.A. in History from Bowdoin College, where she was a member of the women’s ice hockey team. Having lived abroad in Spain, Kirsten is an avid traveler, always planning her next adventure. She currently resides in Boston with her partner, Don, and their son, Tripp.

Fun Fact: Kirsten is an active triathlete. In 2016, she completed the famous 500-mile weeklong bike journey across the state of Iowa, known as RAGBRAI.

Ann Gambardella brings over 10 years of experience in technology recruiting to Megaworx Executive Search, having filled c-level, executive and management positions across a multitude of technology skillsets including:

Ann holds a B.S. in Information Systems from Quinnipiac University. Before becoming a recruiter, she enjoyed a 25-plus year career in IT, eventually becoming the CIO for a start-up. She understands technology disciplines and what motivates top candidates to seek new opportunities.

Fun Fact: Ann enjoys the cultural experience of living in the heart of Yale University, and she can tell you everything you need to know about New Haven’s legendary pizza.
